Whether you’re an avid Android user or a dedicated Apple fan, we offer products from both brands, such as the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and the iPhone 8 Plus. Despite coming from different worlds, these products are packed with fantastic features to give you something happy to spend your money on and glad to take home with you.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus
The S9 Plus is a gorgeous model with a whole lot of screen space, an excellent dual-lens camera, and a massive amount of storage. For the best display and picture-taking results, this is a model you want to check out.
The screen is 6.2 inches, curved ever so slightly, and provides a bright and colorful display to impress the eyes. The S9 also comes equipped with Bixby vision to translate text, scan QR codes, and generally give you the run-down on anything you place in the camera.
The camera provides equally stunning visuals, with a 12-megapixel lens that possesses an adjusting aperture, which works with the light to take high-quality photos and videos. The camera can capture in slow-motion for those more serious about video-taking but cuts into low lights and other hindering light conditions for anyone who only wants to take a good photo without trouble.
The S9 Plus gives you 6GB of RAM and an additional 64BG of internal storage. If that isn’t enough, it can hold a microSD card to give you up to 400 additional gigabytes of extra storage.
This phone is long-lasting, providing 15 hours of 4G LTE usage with a 3500mAh battery, and is water-resistant enough to be completely submerged in water for up to half an hour.
Lastly, the stereo speakers pack a punch if you’re looking to share your music, but you can always opt for the headphone jack if you want to keep the sound to yourself.
The iPhone 8 Plus
The iPhone 8 Plus is a dependable model, considering it still stands secure in the market despite older iPhones typically becoming obsolete once new ones are released. The phone’s incredible camera, quick speeds, and aesthetic appeal make it still desirable for those who don’t feel like they necessarily want or need the newest model on the line.
The camera is undoubtedly one of the phone’s most appealing features, offering recording quality up to 4K at 60 frames per second. This phone also comes with a 12-megapixel dual-lens camera, complete with slow-motion recording, live photo animation, and the incredible Portrait Mode for stunning photo capture and multiple filter options.
The speed of the 8 Plus is well worth it too. Even if you’ve got your phone full of videos, games, and large files, it still runs like a charm and won’t give you much problem with delays loading or switching between applications.
The 8 Plus comes with a ton of little features to enhance your experience too. Extra features include a sleek glass back, a leveler within the compass app, a built-in QR code scanner, and even a neat shortcut to deleting long text messages by simply shaking the phone rather than holding down backspace for what can feel like an eternity.

The Samsung Galaxy S9
Samsung released the S9 in March of 2018, at about $719.00, a high price for its high-quality features. The S9 comes with a dual-lens camera for sharper far-away shots and an adjustable aperture for better camera performance in low lighting. The camera also has a slow-motion feature that allows you to fast forward, rewind, or reverse your captured videos for a bit of that novice cinematographer effect. The also S9 comes equipped with stereo speakers, one top and one on bottom, to give the smartphone some serious sound for those nights on the back porch blasting your playlist among friends.
The S9 is a winner in security, providing users with a facial and iris scanning combination to lower the failure rate of securely unlocking your phone – and the best thing, photos of its users can’t trick the security. The fingerprint scanner is also beneath the camera instead of right next to it, taking away the risk of smudging the lens. Lastly, the S9 comes with improved Bixby Vision, which lets you translate texts from other languages and view the calorie count of your food, among other neat options.
The Samsung Note 8
The Note 8 was released in September of 2017, priced at $926.00, and was an excellent save for Samsung after the big Note 7 recall during 2016. The best thing about this smartphone is it’s vibrant, 6.3-inch display. You can take advantage of app pairing in multi-window mode to use two apps at the same time to make use of the large and screen. The Note 8 provides 6GB of RAM and, like the S9, comes with a dual-lens camera. The Note 8 also comes with the wonderful S Pen, which allows you to sign documents, jot notes, and draw up animated, handwritten messages with Live Messages.
How Do I Pick?
When it comes to choosing the right smartphone, the most important things to look at are the brightness and color quality, the amount of storage space, and which phone holds a charge best. Of course, you also want to pick the phone that feels right to you and remember not to pay more than you need to. Luckily, you don’t have to.
At Computers Plus Cellphones, we offer these models and more at affordable prices with reliable service to help you purchase the products right for you. The top five mobile vendors are shown by percentage of their total market share in 2019.

The world is completely wiped out by a huge planetary collision but yet humans start a new life on Bronson Beta in “When Worlds Collide.” Meanwhile, in actual Earth, the desktop computer has just been destroyed by a huge mobile phone collision. But a new life is emerging where all kinds of consumer devices – cell phones, tables, and OK, there are still some desktops – live in harmony. Let’s look at some key facts.
In March of 2017, the unthinkable happened: Microsoft Windows, still in full strength, became a minority. Android became the most widely used operating system (OS) in the world. It’s also worth noting that Apple’s desktop operating system, OS X, saw no increase in market share while it’s mobile OS has continued to rise slowly. At worst, we can say it’s now a level playing field: no one type of computer is dominating overall. But how did that happen?

Back in 2014, the number of mobile device users met and exceeded the number of desktop computer users. But many people had both desktops and mobile devices, so the market share was still much larger. If you’ll notice, there has simply been a gradual increase in smartphone use over the last ten years. Still, desktop users have not just thrown their systems out the window and picked up phones.

The present landscape is that most people using modern technology have multiple devices: desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, smartwatches. That has several implications in the marketplace. For example, peripherals are no longer primarily USB and serial ports but rather a wide array of ports and sizes. Repair shops need to expand their resources and train technicians on different kinds of devices in order to serve the masses. This diversity gives consumers more options to suit their needs, but comes a cost.
